My name is Xin Qiao Liao, pronounced as "Shin-Chow," which sounds similar to "Hello" in Vietnamese ("Xin Chào"), Italian ("Ciao"), and Spanish ("Chao"). I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, a beautiful city nestled between the mountains and ocean! I hold a master's in HCI/Design from Indiana University Bloomington, and a bachelor's in Psychology from National Taiwan University.
Having a passion to explore emerging technology, I strive to solve human needs by creating empowering and inclusive experiences. I follow a clear, iterative process to approach the right user experience design strategy in order to build things that matter. My design goal is to reduce complexity everywhere I go and make life easier.
🏐 I am a volleyball player since I was in high school. Volleyball teaches me how to be a good communicator and develop teamwork skills.
🌎 I am a travel junkie. I’ve traveled to 8 countries. Traveling makes me adapt to new environments with ease, and teaches me to be curious.
🍰 I am also a foodie. I love cooking, baking, and trying out different cuisines.
